Hi there data traveler! This is the wiki of [[User:Andre|André Castro]].
Olá! My name is André Castro (he/him). I am a software practitioner working within knowledge and data management, for scientific research. Currently, I am a data manager for the [https://ruisdael-observatory.nl/ ''Ruisdael Observatory''] (TU-Delft).

From 2020 to 2022 I took on the role of knowledge engineer at the German National Library of Science and Technology, in the domains of chemistry ([https://www.nfdi4chem.de/ ''NFDI4Chem'']), cultural and heritage ([https://nfdi4culture.de/index.html ''NFDI4Culture'']).


Between 2013 and 2020, I tutored at the [https://xpub.nl/ ''Experimental Publishing''] program at the Piet Zwart Art Institute, teaching prototyping classes (focused on python and Linux-based systems), and coaching students through their graduation projects. And through the years I worked as a software developer for TVT/DMC and artists, Lawrence Abu Hamdan, Rana Hamadeh, and Renée Turner.


In 2013 I graduated from the Master of Media Design and Communication at the Piet Zwart Institute, and in 2007, from the Sonic Arts BA program at Middlesex University.

Olá! My name is André Castro (he/him). I am a software practitioner working within knowledge and data management, for scientific research. Currently, I am a data manager for the Ruisdael Observatory (TU-Delft).
