Hybrid Publishing Resources
2015
Hybrid Publishing Resources is code repository, consisting of a collection of resources - scripts, files, directories - aimed at the development hybrid publications, in both reflowable format (EPUB3) and fixed layout outputs (Scribus and inDesign).
The repository has been developed to help my development and teaching work at both Institute of Network Cultures and Willem de Kooning Academy's [http://publicationstation.wdka.hro.nl/wiki/index.php/Main_Page Publication Statio.
The resources rely on a workflow based on the conversion between markup languages, using Pando and Markdown source-files. Most of the ideas materialized in this collections of resources originated from the Digital Publishing Toolkit research project, specially the contributions of [http://automatist.org/ Michael Murtaugh and Silvio Loruss and the [http://networkcultures.org/digitalpublishing/ Hybrid Publishing research project.
