How to add certificates to nginx domains

16.09.2019

  • add docroot (done)
  • add nginx vhost (use nginx_modsite for enabling / disabling vhosts)
  • if dns is pointing to the server already and the docroot is readable

for the webserver, then

  • `certbot-auto -d domain.top`
    • it asks if you want a permanent redirect to ssl: yes
